Great inner-city spot and a lovely Italian café! The food is always delicious, and it’s become my go-to place for lunch when I’m working from the office. There’s a great selection of fresh salads, the pasta is full of flavour, and the chicken is on another level.

We recently had catering provided for three separate events—Wednesday and two on Thursday—and I just had to share how fantastic everything was! Each group was absolutely thrilled with the food. There wasn’t a single complaint—just lots of compliments! We even got to sample some of the leftovers (the chicken, meatballs, and especially the arancini), and wow… they were incredible! The flavours were spot on and everything was beautifully presented. Thank you so much for always taking care of us. You consistently deliver top-quality service and delicious food. I found this cafe at the end of a post Sydney Marathon recovery run on the Tuesday after the event. I think it may have been the owner/manager who seated and served me. He was extremely friendly and welcoming and the whole cafe had a lovely warm vibe. It’s obviously a favourite spot for local city workers with both an outdoor take away section or roomy indoor seating area. My omelette was just perfect as was my cappuccino. Heading back to Canberra but so pleased I found this cafe close to where I often stay for running events and I will definitely return.

I stumbled upon this hidden gem and I'm so glad I did! The interior is charming, with a great selection of seating options. The eggplant pasta was to die for and I also loved that they offer plenty of vegetarian options. The team, especially Kathy always makes you feel right at home with their warm and welcoming service. It's the perfect spot to relax or catch up with a friend. Consistently good and definitely worth a visit, delightful experience all around!

EATALO Cafe, what a special place it is. Its interior is so cosy and charming, it feels like you are eating at home. It brings me back to a cafe/restaurant back home in Italy, even though it is right in the heart of the CBD. There are plenty of seating options inside and out, the perfect spot to dine in or even to relax with a cup of coffee with friends. LOVE THEIR COFFEE and their selection of sweet biscuits and pastries. The front of house team/staff are very friendly and welcoming, especially meeting Kathy, who always greets you with a smile. Eatalo has a wide selection of pasta salad on offer and a variety of full on, authentic Italian dishes to choose from their menu, which is lead by their Italian chef, one who clearly cares about and understands the flavours and traditions of Italy, which is delightful to see. If you are looking for great food, warm hospitality, true Italian flavour and generous servings with great value for your money, give this little gem, "EATALO" a GO ! Highly recommend.

Beautiful little spot with delicious pastas and salads, as well as a variety of refreshing smoothies. A little on the pricey side but for what you are getting I'd say its fair. Would definitely return here!

The Mog Champ sends his regards. Eatalo or I still call them Bertoni is a nice cafe on the corner of the street and they are usually my go to place for quick coffee runs. I've also had lunch from there too and it's nicely prepared! Good service, clean and dim atmosphere - never dined in before so I can't say anything about that aspect but I'm sure that they satisfy their customers!
